Tension is the body's way of protecting itself against any stress, be it physical or mental.
One of the places that tension can build up is in the lower back, hips and pelvis and it can be really uncomfortable! If you don't do anything to release the tension it can lead to a range of painful conditions, start to limit your range of motion and even affect your sleep. Trust me, I know from experience!
This two hour workshop at Prana Yoga Studio, Hamilton will see us use yin and some yang yoga to help to release this tension. One of the many benefits of yin yoga is that it can work deeper into the body. Pranayama, meditation and rounded off by a relaxing Yoga Nidra will help you feel more at ease and relaxed.
The workshop starts at 1.30 pm and finishes at 3.30pm. This session is suitable for all levels and beginners are welcome.
