I believe that yoga should be an inclusive experience, and everyone is welcome
I’m Maria and I’m a 200 hour Seasonal Yoga Teacher.
Yoga has been a constant in my life since my early teens – always there to give me a sense
of balance, space and the chance to slow down and breathe. As soon as I unfold my mat, I
feel like I’m easing out the tension in my body, my worries drift away and I’m ready to face
the week.
In 2014, I was introduced to the concept of Seasonal Yoga and I have loved learning how to
use my yoga practice to become more in harmony with nature and be present in the here
and the now.
During lockdown, I was able to help family discover that the meditative rhythm of yoga can
bring a sense calm in what was an otherwise unsettling time. It was this experience of
sharing my practice that led me to Prana, and in 2021 I joined Carla and her inspiring team
to complete my 200 hour seasonal yoga teacher training. I’m sure it is just the beginning of
what will be life-long learning experience.
I have a great respect for the traditions of this ancient practice but I also like to bring fun to
my classes. I believe that yoga should be an inclusive experience, and everyone is welcome
to come and share the benefits of yoga with me!
