As we navigate the change into Late Summer, reset with this lush workshop.

Two yoga nidras, drawing from the Himalayan tradition and Lucie’s inimitable Wildsong Yoga Nidra (infused with nature inspired by Taoism), woven around a qigong Body Clock Flow.

Suitable for complete beginners, the body clock flow is a standing practice of mindful movement, qigong sequences attuned to our circadian rhythm. In a day, we flow through the five elements: Earth, fire, water, fire, wood and metal. Interestingly and beautifully, there are two fire phases in each day. The body clock flow is an enjoyable and accessible way to restore energetic whole body flow and balance.

Yoga nidra is a deeply restorative practice, a form of enriched rest where we connect within. A lithe and beautiful practice, yoga nidra takes us through the rainbow of states similar to those in sleep, restoring energy, opening us into simple powerful presence.

At the very least we rest deeply (snoring optional), at the pinnacle we connect beautifully with all beyond ourselves.

This workshop is devoted to instilling calm, offering a sanctuary of deep rest.

No prior experience of qigong required. Yoga nidras created and shared will be recorded and gifted to participants as MP3s afterwards.

About Lucie

Lucie is a Senior Teacher in Seasonal Yoga & Associate Facilitator of Total Yoga Nidra. She first encountered this incredible healing practice in 2011. However, it was her experience of Total Yoga Nidra with Uma, Nirlipta Dinsmore-Tuli and Ben Wolff in 2016 and subsequent training & work with them, that radically shifted the landscape of what yoga nidra can be. From something read from a book to a strong, informed, flexible practice of deep healing and connection, focused on the individual with safety and support at its heart.

Lucie co-facilitated the first Total Yoga Nidra Immersion with Nirlipta Tuli in Glasgow in February 2020 and continues her training with him in nidra & neuroscience. 2023 will see the first Wildsong Nidra immersions and training here in Scotland and she’s published on Insight Timer too.

Lucie's training and practice respects and draws on all traditions of yoga nidra. She shares nidra live, created in the moment, tailored for the group/individual, entwined in nature and the seasons. Nidra offers us the chance to come home to ourselves, to truly unite with our Self in beautifully simple and easy ways. ‘There is nothing to do and nowhere to be. It is time to come home.’
