I started practicing yoga around 8 years ago when I was at University when panic attacks and anxiety were taking over my life and seemed to have lost myself somewhere along the way. I searched online ‘yoga near me’, found Carla’s beautiful studio and never looked back! Yoga brought a sense of stillness to my life, I became part of a community, it encouraged me to find confidence in myself again and allowed me to take these tools with me off the mat to live life and be happy. It felt like a natural step for me to undertake the Seasonal Yoga TT with Carla in 2019 to, develop my knowledge, self-practice, meet new friends and see where it would take me! I’m now a 200 hour RYT who can’t wait to share the beauty and peace that yoga has brought to my life with my others.

Through my classes I hope to inspire others to bring themselves into the present moment, being mindful of how you may feel in that moment and leaving everything else behind. I like to empower people to make their practice their own by listening to their bodies while offering a supportive and fun environment for growth in confidence, mobility and resilience. Yoga is not about the perfect pose, your practice doesn’t have to be one hour long and you don’t need to be ‘flexible’, it can be 2 sun salutations every day or 10 deep breaths on a busy train, just breathe, move and see how it feels, you might be surprised where it takes you!
